The room might be large but the island is not, I would do two smaller, however if the room really is large the clear glass pendants may get lost. Also not good light providers as a side note.

Clear glass is just for looks, so if you have ample work light over the island they are fine, not sure if you clicked that link i sent but you can see how they can get lost in a room that is all white.

I wouldn't hang clear glass fixtures over an island with a cooktop and no overhead hood. You'll be fighting a losing battle to keep the glass clean. I'm not sure an Edison bulb fixture is in a cohesive style to your kitchen either, but hopefully some pros will offer up some good suggestions since you've posted pics.

I wouldnt change a thing, until you change the kitchen. had it been me I would have put the two light over the island and the 4 light over the table.

To the op. You just moved in? Live with EVERYTHING for six months . What you don't want to do ? Burn a hole in your pocket pecking at rooms in some piecemeal fashion. You need stools! Ok..... but.

Write down everything you like, everything you don't - kitchen and room by room. Everyone understands the urge to make it your own and you can. But not in willy nilly fashion and not without an end goal. You can cook in it, live in it...........and you won't starve while doing that.
