Yes, we had a month over 100F this year and my two plants did great! These plants are six years old I think. Munston does well for me too and it is even darker.

I am a huge fan of Munstead Wood and grow two of them. In fact, Munstead is my favorite Austin and takes heat and cold like a trouper, blooming continuously every month from May to November. Last summer was our hottest on record and it does get hot here, as well as dry semi arid desert, zone 7). Diane

Taken of another bloom about the same time, but this one isn't quite as dark. It puzzles me how the buds stayed so bright.

Not blooming here right now . . . But "Grandmother's Hat" sure is.
