Why not put in real wood? Much easier on the legs and back. Easy as pie to care for, and has the warmth and beauty imitating tile or LVP will never have.

Consider painting the walls. At least in this photo, the color doesn't work with any of the elements in the kitchen.

No vote. Either get real wood stained to match that which you already have, or select something that isn't fake wood.

I think I’d lean into the warmth of the cabinets rather than try to counter them with pale flooring. I agree with Yvonne Martin - that bit of wood flooring visable in the bottom right of your photo looks like it would work very well in your kitchen. This photo is similar to your cabinet color and countertop, so I think it’s an excellent inspiration photo.

No wood look tile next to real wood. Either extend the wood flooring visible in the lower part of your photo or go with a tile that contrasts like a slate-look tile (if that counter has some dark charcoal tones in it-too difficult to tell at a distance in the photo). Also, remove the splash that you already have in place if you're adding a new tile backsplash (don't tile above the 4-6" splash).

Thanks for posting this closeup shot. It does change my perspective on using Grand Canyon on the walls. The BM Moore app came up with Clay, which I felt was too dark for walls, so I selected the lightest color from the same strip, which is Brandy Cream. It’s a nice, soft neutral color that would be easy to live with. I like your current backsplash, and would just paint the wall above it.

Here’s a look at all the elements to update your kitchen. To help incorporate the tone of your cabinets for a cohesive feel, I’d find artwork you love that includes that golden color.

You cannot place wood next to whatever that wood like flooring is in the next room.
