Lighting Design Dilemma Bathrooms

I need help with selecting a mirror and lighting for a 78 inch single

I have a 78 inch single sink vanity, how do I select a mirror size and lighting for it?

Hi Beverly, thanks for the photos you provided. I should have clarified that I would like to place a mirror above the sink which is in the middle of the 78 inch vanity and then use sconces on each side of the mirror. Most websites suggest the sconces should be no more than 40 inches apart. I was just wondering if anyone had placed them further apart than that and how did that work.

Stabbing in the dark, I'd say go with a 5' mirror -- framed -- and pendant lighting hanging on each side. Be sure to put the pendants on a dimmer, as lights reflected in a mirror are doubled.
