You have 2 fans and a fixture on a swag already, so I’d skip adding another, to avoid creating a really busy space.

If you don’t need the fan in living room, consider a fixture (on a dimmer) + a lamp on the console would be better choices and will create a nice ambiance. If interested, adding a longer console is recommended to accommodate a lamp in a balanced way and there are great second hand finds.

I have two lamps on the console already and as it is a florida condo we really need the fans. There are lights on the fans but it isnt the ambient light that i need in the dining space and its not bright enough to play cards or games when we have all our family here. So quite the dillema. I am a designer but sometimes when it comes to your own space you need a little help.

Oh and the console cant be any longer or it will extend either into the kitchen or the family room window.

IMO you do a conduit for the DR fixture and run it off the electrical that is there for the fan If you choose LED for the DR it should be fine . You will need an electrician to check to make sure about what else is on tht circuit and IMO no light in the fan. The other option is something like this if you have the sapc e. I have done this often in condos

Too many light and fans already. I would swap the kitchen light for a nice directional light track or multi head fixture simple fix and solves that problem.

Sure you can buy a fixture with a plug, and use cord cover, or cord channels they can be purchased at lowes or home depo. but here you have a lot going on and im not sure you need another light .

Too your point about lamps, every fixture has an edison bulb. great for warm and cozy, not great for task. if you really want to address the issue track and or rail would solve everything.

Why do you have two seating areas with the dining table in between? Maybe the table should be positioned under the electrical box.

BTW that swagged fixture is not attractive in the kitchen. Why not just use a ceiling-mounted fixture hung from the electrical box?

Thanks all, a conduit is not attractive, we have two seating areas because the space is about 27’ long. The chandelier in the kitchen is actually centered on the space, the box wasnt, and its quite pretty when you see the rest of the space and we love it. Copperkesh, yours was the most helpful, maybe in a brushed nickel finish.

I 100% feel your pain. I live in a prewar coop with cement slab ceilings and we are not allowed to drill in to it for lighting. I love your table placement and see why it also adds to the challenge.

I do think a swag is probably your best bet. Because you are in a beach condo, I wonder if a chunky rope swag could add to a nautical feeling, rather than using a chain swag. I also think you could do a light such as this one below but take it to a lamp repair shop and have them replace the cord with a cloth cord the color of the shade. These white plastic cords look bad, but if you try to make it intensional instead with color I think it will look much better.
