These are reclaimed pieces what did you want for the beams this is what you get with reclaimed they are not new or finished . You do realize cleaning these in your home will be an issue but the spiders will love them . As for the oak floor and these working together it will will depend on the flooring guy to get it right . As for the red streaks that could actully be red paint from a barn they used to be in or just nature of the wood.I love reclaimed but do not ever expect it to be anything except what it is. MY question is how long after washing did you let them dry they absorb water like crazy so takes areally log time under cover to dry before they can be used

Hello, thank you for your input. I had a professional cabinet guy (since he sourced the beams) do the cleaning, drying, sanitizing and painting a clear coat on it. I suspect that he dried them long enough (he was taking advantage of the nice 70-80degree weather in Wisconsin we are getting now). Maybe it’s the nature of the wood.. (attached are some BEFORE pictures at pick up).

The flooring is engineered hardwood so they are going to be this color (I know it’s hard to picture it online).

I am not going to comment of thr flooring color other than it is very yellow hued . As for the rest I think if you love the beams let them drive the other choices and IMO an unfinished floor site finished would have been a much better choice Maybe get flooring samples to put right beside the beams if they are now done for install. BTW I do not love fake beams so please make sure these will lool like they are real and are part of the stucture after all this work
