Thats great! I haven't had much success with them, when do you plant them? Do you use tomato cages to get them up, I let them sprawl but they grew a lot of vines but very little fruit.

I grow them every year. This is the first year I've grown them vertically, with tomato cages. I used to just let them sprawl on the ground. One disadvantage of that is that fruit tended to hide under foliage, whereby you'd harvest enormous fruit when you found them. I plant out right after last frost, which here is late February. As usual for cucurbits, you get loads of male flowers in the beginning, followed a few weeks later by the female ones. Plants do that because male flowers are less costly to make, and they attract pollinators. If you lack pollinators, hand pollination is easy

I tried growing them this year, based on your comments here, but I was disappointed that they do not seem to have any cucumber flavor, and really not much flavor at all, IMO.

Mine struggled too - the leaves were a caterpillar magnet.

I have caterpillars that damage my collards, and I've come to terms with them with Bt, but I've never had to use Bt or any other insecticide on my cukes. Cukes don't have a lot of flavor, in general. To me, these seem just as good as store-bought cukes, flavor-wise.
