I don't know what is customary in your location or what type organization you purchased from. We do not purchase any granite on behalf of our clients unless we can take the client to the warehouse and physically see the slab(s) in person. Then we tag the specific slabs we want and they are set aside to be picked up by the fabricator we select for the project. Natural stones vary too much in color and markings to select anything from a sample in a show room.

We do not happen to see a lot of leathered products in this area but I do not recall seeing a great deal of veining in Absolute Black.
