I like that you're matching with a large size in the lighting of your space. I'd bring home a number of other options. You can use your counter slab material as a splash for a higher end look. Quartzite like Taj Mahal may work as counter/splash. leathered Taj Mahal quartzite (houzz.com)

Sorry, but I don't like it. I think it looks like bathroom tile....not a good look in a kitchen in my opinion.

The color is good, but agree with above -- kinda looks like bathroom tile, and it looks slippery.

Is it possible to match the floors in the adjacent areas? That is usually the best look, as it gives a sense of flow through the home and makes it feel more cohesive and larger.

The marble-look tiles can work in more contemporary designs, but for me, there is a style disconnect when paired with traditional cabinets such as these.

Travertine or travertine-look tiles would be better suited to more traditional cabinets.

What is your plan for the entire space? What counter top are you considering? You should have a plan in place even if you are going to do the project in separate pieces.

I personally like a dark, slate-look tile with your cabinets.

You definitely need a plan. You don't want to back yourself into a very small corner due to a bad material choice you made at the beginning of the project.

Agree. Your cabs are way too traditional for the fake marble look. Also agree-you need to coordinate the floor choice, with whatever your counter choice will be. And, please…no fake marble quartz with those cabinets.

Btw, although not in style currently, your wood cabs are beautiful. I almost went with a rope insert, in a former kitchen.

Your cabinets are so beautiful! I would keep the floor neutral and simple. Why? Likely the future countertop and backsplash will want all the attention with the pretty cabinets. You’ll have better options when ready for future plan.

I agree with @chispa and others that the cabinets are beautiful traditional styling and deserve something simpler and I would favor a simpler and more uniform stone flooring. Those cabinets have enough going on... in a good way. I like them.

While the herringbone floor that Unique Flooring posted is beautiful, I wouldn't use it with the cabinets. The color is off and the herringbone looks too busy for the space.

It's tricky to get a wood floor to work with wood cabinets, that's why I suggested tile or slate.
