Your floor tile #1 could make a great back splash to the ceiling, with a simple floor.

IMO you do not need backspalsh behind the W/D and 6" one behind the sink and a fun piece of art on the sink wall. I do not like open shelving in kitchens or laundry rooms. I would also take the cabinets to the ceiling the crown looks a bit silly. If that is a hanging bar between the cabinets are you sure that is the first thing you see is stuff hanging there when you enter? What is the prurpose of the open shelves in the base caobinet run? To be honest I think huge over designed laundry rooms are awaste of space but if you have tons of room go for it IMO just one more room to have to clean often. I do not like Pale Oak with white appliances and I do like the ideas from but I would do the patterened floor and a simple blue backspalsh.

Instead of pale oak do you have a recommendation?
6 kiddos here so laundry is my life. I might be the most excited about this particular room 🫠
