All the clumps are fabulous. That is a wonderful bloom on Soli Deo Gloria, and Rich in Mercy looks rich indeed. But I think my favorite one may be Substantial Evidence, and I don't see the brown tones on my screen.

Debra, the brown is on the outside edges-the yellow fades to brownish color. This is such a strange plant. some days all blooms will be solid yellow, other days it has this look. One thing for sure, they never look the same from day to day. Soli Deo Gloria just gave splotchy blooms until a week ago and now they all are looking pretty good-heat maybe? Today we had heat index of 113 so if they look better in the heat, this week they should be looking glorious!!! :)

Nancy, I absolutely love the clumps of Mean Green and Tahiti Sweetie. I make several rounds looking at them in the mornings. Both have colors and height that just draw your eye to them in the garden.

Your clumps are just gorgeous! No other word for it. Cabbage Butterfly is not just a big bloom, but a really good bloomer too. I like Ocean spirit, But with all of the beauty, I can't get past that magnificent clump of Tahiti Sweetie!

Oh my what a feast of colors. Your Tahiti Sweetie is pulling some dark, dark colors. Just lovely in a clump. I'll have to go back and look at them all again.

Wonderful pics! Ocean Spirit here for some reason has had bad thrips the last two seasons. Thrips are especially a problem at the estate garden, where some plants are against a beige wall. Hoping you get a good rebloom.

Glorious clump shots Kate! Tahiti Sweetie blew me away today. Such an interesting seedling you have…..I would keep it too.

Julia, that Tahiti Sweetie photo was taken at 6:45 in the morning so the blooms are a bit darker. I think your photos in New York enabled a lot of us to get this plant.

Mantis, Ocean Spirit is one that the hail flattened some of the scapes. I had quite a few of the taller ones with more ”spindly” scapes meet that fate.

Rich in Mercy is gorgeous and since I don't remember seeing it before, I think it's my favorite. Ocean Spirit always grabs my attention, but I know it probably would not have those color tones here in my climate. I always find the form on your Substantial Evidence intriguing. Big and flat.......So many nice ones the deer left alone. Thank goodness for that.............Maryl

Yes, I should not have whined so much at the beginning of the season-I was fortunate to have my big front bed left alone by bugs and deer (just a cow!!)

Substantial Evidence is unusual. I am beginning to wonder if nighttime temps factor into the color of the blooms. Whatever color/shade they are, the entire bloom array is the same color.

I always Love seeing Tahiti Sweetie and this is over the top!!!! I almost didn't look at the rest!! Laura Harwood looks good; I find that I have to cut back the foliage on mine as it obscures the flowers.

Willow Dean Smith is so pretty as usual.

Many of the others are appealing to me as well.
