Disease Identification for Dahlias

I noticed yellowing leaves at the bottom of my dahlias. Then black areas forming. This all is occurring toward the bottom of my plants, so I'm assuming it's some type of fungus. I'm removing the leaves, but on a couple of dahlias, it's moving inward and upward. Any thoughts on what's ailing my plants and how to treat them?
