Pendant with adjustable height

We are looking at a pendant with an adjustable height and are wondering if the connectors look ugly whe using two connectors? Haven't been able to see any physically in store so unsure.

Any pictures and responses are appreciated.

    I have seen connectors that are literally a small seam between the two pieces. But I have also seen things that look obvious. It's really going to depend on the fixture. And you may not always see that in pictures, unfortunately.
