How to center frame behind my sofa?

Hi!

I want to put a frame up behind my sofa, but the wall behind it is not flat...

I don't know how to center the frame for it to look better than in the second picture (I centered it with the wall, not the sofa....).

I am open to changing the frame, either getting a bigger one, smaller one, or even a 2-3 piece one - whatever you think would look best!

Any ideas? I need help!!!

It's because alignment of your sofa to the fireplace looks a bit odd. Perhaps if you post a detailed layout with measurements including openings, fireplace and furniture you can get help with that.

I would first consider if that is the best arrangement for your furniture. Then decide where to hang the art. I agree with @P Banos, a floor plan would be helpful.

Agree that maybe your current space planning is not optimal. What is the sofa facing currently? Is that a prominent visual line from another room? Or is the sofa facing a TV? If you keep it as-is, you will have to ignore symmetry on that wall.

the art is great in that spot on the wall.

It's not the art it's the sofa... can you spin it to face the the FP?

Change the orientation and/or position of the sectional. Work out a proper seating arrangement before decorating around it.

Please provide more photos of the room so we can figure this out.

It looks like it might be better to move the TV to the wall where the sectional currently is. Then it would look like the fireplace is integrated instead of an after thought. Here are a few designs we think might help:
