Epargyreus clarus, Silver- Spotted Skipper in photos 1, 3, 4, 5. It may be the same butterfly in photo 2, with the lighting hiding the silver spot. They use plants in the bean family Fabaceae as host plants. Their prefered host plants are Apios americana, Amphicarpaea bracteata, Amorpha fruticosa, Clitoria mariana, American and Chinese Wisteria, Robinia, Desmodium and Hylodesmum. The caterpillars use silk to form rolled leaf nests.

Thanks! I suspected silver spotted skipper but in one of the photos, it looked like it might be a different skipper. I had about ten of them yesterday, all feasting on Stachys officinalis 'Hummelo'. Based on your comments on the other set of pictures, number 2 is a dun skipper. Same guy, hard to get a good shot.

Many Skippers are more easily and broadly identified as "folded-wing" or as "spread-wing" than identifying down to the exact species. #3 above is a spread-wing skipper.

Those look like moths to me, not butterflies.
