You’re going to regret it, it doesn’t look good. We was thinking about it first, before we saw it in person. Then we went with regular elevator. Our elevator dose not require a mechanical room, so it didn’t take much place.

What is the thought behind why you want one?

have 4 floors and roof top deck so I want one. i don't mind it's slow. I have a lot of artworks hanging along the way

AmeriGlide is the company, we also took it the the 3rd floor roof terrace. We put it to the side so we don’t lose any of the footprint.

so if the house has views or art gallery then maybe it's good to have a slow moving vacuum elevator?

Most home elevators are slow in general. But NO artwork in the world can makes this look better!

If the stair railing is all glass and the elevator arcrylic is non-tinted, then it would look much better.

Like this maybe? Can you show us your stairs design? What is your motive for choosing this particular kind of elevator?

I would have a one-run straight staircase and open space on one side. If I choose SS finish maybe they look a little more inline?

Maybe easier to put in an ice maker and water up on the deck. I think these are great idea but for sure need a very contemporary setting to look at least okay. I actually do not like them connected to the stairs .

I think it looks hideous.

My artwork looks good and doesn't need outside influences to make it look better. ;)

I did look into those but chose a traditional elevator instead.

The style wouldn't work in a home that I would build, it's too futuristic looking. But, in a modern setting, in a big space where it wouldn't overpower the room, it could work. It's very bossy.
