LOL Omg sorry. Meant to say shed. It auto corrected. We are debating on putting a shed on side of our garage vs backyard and wondering if aesthetically that would be beneficial or not.

It would be beneficial if that’s where it’s needed and visually, it depends on your plans , its size, placement, etc. Are you showing fence panels as you will be placing in front?

Look into building offset requirements for your home. Often a garage is placed right up against the limits, so you may not have room to expand. If you have the room, then I see no reason you couldn't.

ETA: also look into your HOA if you belong to one, as often sheds are not allowed.

Ooooo okay that makes sense. I will look into that because I know we have easements. The fence panels are not important, I didn’t realize they were in that pic.

if it's going to be visible from the road I would pay the extra money and get a custom shed that can be finished nicely with windows, and painted in the same color as the house etc.. (in other words I don't think it's the right location if you're doing a basic shed from Home Depot)
