Thanks for the info 'gg'. But there is no way for it to be invasive in my hardiness zone. Seeds *might* start it elsewhere but the clump hasn't spread an inch via rhizome in the at least 5 years it has been in its present location.

Is it A italicum or A maculatum? I'm guessing italicum from the berries.

(I am confident I did not buy it but instead it was more likely from a division given to me.)

If you allow the seeds to ripen and remain on the plant, they will be carried by ants some distance from your home/yard. That's invasive. I've seen it happen.

(These birds would have to travel a quite a distance for them to bring them to an area (zone 7?) where it would be possibly invasive.)
