We built a pool and pool house in NorthWest Arkansas last year that we love to use daily. Thanks to the large oak that shades the house and pool house in the mornings, the pool is wonderful to use early in the day. But after 1pm, it becomes unbearably hot out there (the pool is oriented lengthwise -diving board north/pool house south. The main house is on the east side of the pool and a big open meadow on the west side). How can we add shade? Trees would take too long to grow sufficiently and create debris in the pool. Sun shades are a possibility but frequent and violent thunderstorms and tornado warnings make them questionable to use unless they can be put up and taken down easily. Help!
