Our OTR microwave died. We have decided to replace it with a range hood because we felt the OTR microwave wasn't providing enough ventilation anyway and lots of grease built up. We need something lower profile (like 10" H or under)

Does anyone have experience with the Zephyr Cyclone 30"? It has a unique filter system not using mesh filters or baffles but rather fans to separate the air/grease and collect drippings in a runoff cup. I'm curious to know if this actually works.
