Help w/ Furniture Placement

Hello ~

I am building a custom Creole style row home which are popular in the area of Houston where we live. I'd love some ideas for furniture placement in the main living area which, in case it matters, adjoins the kitchen. The below drawing still reflects the living area properly (disregard the kitchen as parts of that have changed since this drawing was issued).

Anyway - I only have 2 chairs (that are identical) that I am planning on keeping in the new living room. Those chairs are these (although mine are not in the color shown here - mine are a lovely large plaid print w/ blues & creams): https://www.arhaus.com/products/harvey-swivel-recliner?variant=42173438525611 Everything else I plan to buy new. I want to pick my sofa first and then build the rest of the room around that. But, I am unsure if we should get a regular sofa or a sectional of some kind to maximize seating. Whatever we get, we want to be comfy but also to look nice on the daily. I do not want to constantly have to fluff cushions and seats, so therefore the RH cloud couch is out (although I will say, my friend who lives around the corner from me in the same style home has the 9' RH Belgian Slope Arm bench sofa, and she absolutely loves it - and I like it very much too). So that is a definite possibility. My only reservation on that couch is the stain resistant properties. Even in the performance fabrics they offer, I'm afraid the white wouldn't stay white for long.

Then, I saw this in person over the weekend & really love this sofa in natural white: https://7thavenue.co/collections/sofas-and-loveseats/products/3-seat-sofa?variant=43744826818803 Pics don't do it justice -- it's beautiful. I've gone down an extensive rabbit hole the past few days reading reviews on it everywhere I can find them, and it seems most people are thrilled w/ it. Very few negative reviews. But, alas, it's 132" long and i think that is too large for the space. The helpful sales rep at 7th Avenue was able to configure different pieces & get the length down to 124" (if I did a sectional w/ 2 left or 2 right corners), but then the ottoman part extends to 85", and that may also overwhelm the room. (It would only extend to 77" if we did the classic depth sofa, but go figure, I like the deeper depth.) That couch would essentially look like this: https://7thavenue.co/collections/sectionals/products/4-seat-sectional?variant=43732200095987 the only difference being that this couch is shown w/ a standard right & left corner piece, whereas mine would have 2 rights or 2 lefts w/ the 2nd one being turned, and the ottoman butting up to that to create the chaise look) in order to reduce the total length to 124".

So - if you smart decorator types have ANY ideas for how I can make this a comfortable but pretty room, I'm all ears! I am totally open to your thoughts/suggestions w/ respect to end tables, coffee tables, other seating/chairs -- whatever you think I need! Thank you for your time/help. :)
