i know this wasn't your question, but it would be great to see a floorplan. If possible, I'd make it so the laundry room can be accessed from the main hallway ad not through a bedroom.

Oh not through a bedroom. This is the hallway upstairs that leads to a bedroom

Unfortunately I don’t have a floor plan photo. Basically at top of stairs turn right is the master. Turn left two bedrooms across from each other then walk down the hallway with the laundry and another bedroom at end as pictured

The ceiling beam looks like it might help when framing doors. How long is that space? You're going to need multiple doors.

You could possibly make it look less like a laundry room by hiding the washer/dryer inside a cabinet. That always looks nice and really "disguises" a laundry room (although I have always wondered if it would be a pain always having to open and close the cabinet...and aren't you supposed to leave the washer door slightly open all the time? Maybe they make the cabinet deep enought to allow that)

Is there anyway you can add another doorway to the bedroom so you don't have to go through the laundry room to get to it? If not, maybe consider looking at not stacking the washer and dryer and instead putting them next to one another.
