What would be most comfortable for me is to pretty much keep your existing layout except swap the chair and loveseat. Move the grandfather clock to the other side of the window and move the floor lamp to the stove area near a plug. Then I would push the end table down to make a seating "L" down there, with back of the loveseat to the big window, facing TV, and lounge chair facing the direction of the stove. Then I would arrange the highback chair with the floor lamp in a way that created a reading area around the stove, possibly with its own little rug or footstool, definitely with a small portable drinks table for the chair, and possibly adding a glass end table at the window for some books and a plant. When guests come, bring the highback chair into the conversational area again as extra seating, facing the loveseat and big window.

although you may block a bit of the window near the woodburning stove, I would move the TV to the FP.

Spin all your furnishing facing the Window, stove and TV as your focal area.

There is a small ‘sunroom’ sitting room to the right if the stove.

I agree I need smaller furniture. And I am eventually going to get rid of this slate on the floor and minimize with a smaller pad. You walk right into this stove from the eat in kitchen area.

Honestly, I just need to save for an interior decorator. 😔. I’m overwhelmed.

Which are the more recent pictures: the one with furniture or the the one without? Even if you still have furniture in there, can you move the big coffee table out of the room, and then move the remaining furniture to different places around the room, trying them out? If you put those furniture sliders under, it will be easy. Get an idea of which arrangement you like. Then make a scale diagram of furniture in the room to take shopping with you. Don't put the coffee table back. It's too big, and without legs, it hides the nice patterned rug.

Have you thought about painting the paneled wall?

The furniture pictures are the current ones. I downsized to 1/2 of the living space I once had.

I have considered painting those paneled walls, but my husband isn’t convinced. He loves the wood.

For now I would take the ladder display shelves away (put the photos on the walls) and angle a wood chair there (use the overhead sconce in a down position for reading). Position another wood chair on the diagonal facing that chair, with it's back to the big window.

Move the leather lounge chair in the TV room into the sunporch. Put it where the wood chair is now.

Buy this for the far right upper corner of the TV room and put the TV on it.

Put the loveseat opposite the window for now but take everything else out of the room and sell it (find another place for the grandfather clock) and buy the longest most comfortable sofa you can afford to replace the loveseat on the wall opposite the big window, and buy a big square or round ottoman to go with it.

Excuse my finger painting. This is all I can envision if you don't want the window obstructed.

It looks like you might need to invest in some apartment sized furniture or smaller furniture, however the TV could go on the big blank wall or to the right of the small window. It looks like those might be your two options. You could then place a sofa on the blank wall or partly in front of the big window and add some small chairs along with a rug and some side tables.
