Art. Make sure it is at 2/3 the width of the sofa. Have you thought of putting the sectional in front of the windows and putting the TV on a wide console on that wall?

If any members of the family are still young enough to want to jump up and down on the sofa and knock things down, I would put up inexpensive unbreakable things, out of their reach.

There might be a better set up for your living room. Without more photos we can't tell, but you might look at placing the sectional on the wall with the window and place the TV over console where the sectional is. The sectional seems way too large for your space. You might consider placing the TV and console where the sectional is and then looking to do a sofa with two chairs instead of the sectional, or an apartment sized sectional.
