I had a faulty shower pan and needed to redo my shower. I want to redo the whole bathroom however don't have the funds at the moment. Looking to do something more modern and timeless and absolutely love zellige tile. I'm a big fan of Cle tile so looking at Weathered White and Charred Cedar since its in stock. My question is this. I live in FL, there is no ventilation in the bathroom, in fact, the walls drip with steam outside of the shower. Is zellige a terrible idea bc its stacked, uneven, and could it be prone to mold? Is it hard to upkeep? I love the look but also want functionality and trying to be practical.
