After viewing these stunning blooms I immediately wanted to see the whole bush and to learn more about it. The tousled petals give it such a carefree and happy look. I wonder if it's also fragrant?

Jeri, how old is your plant? Do you think the blooms are representative of a mature plant? A new pink Noisette would be very welcome.

I have a less impressive noisette seedling. It blooms a lot, but not en masse. What makes it special is that it seems to be colder -hardy than all my bought noisettes. It just doesn't get the damage in below freezing temperatures. I wonder if that's because it doesn't have the viruses (NOT RRD) but not the assortment of viruses that other noisettes got by being grafted onto infected rootstock.

I would bet that yours can handle temperatures into the teens and maybe a bit lower.

I can;t say much yet about the habit . . . It's in a 5-G pot, and we hope to put it in the ground come July or so. It does look like it'll make nice sprays, and the foliage is clean, but that's all we know so far.

And it's very young. It just popped up this winter. I doubt it'll ever be able to tell us about cold-hardiness, tho.
