Is it correct for nail holes to show on a finished stair rail? I assumed the installers or the carpenter would have filled them in before staining? Also, is there any reason we should not ask for the gaps and mismatched cuts to be fixed? I anticipate the carpenter and/or flooeing store to have an excuse for the sloppy work. Thank you!
