SCAM Appliance Connection is a RIP OFF company

I ordered an Amana electric range. I had someone wait at my home to receive the delivery and no one arrived. I then called on Monday, the next business day to speak with a supervisor and the telephone representative told me that all of the supervisors were out that day, so I couldn't get any details on when the delivery would occur. I requested a full refund and they told me that the delivery charge was more than 1/2 the cost of the entire order. My order was $598 and the redelivery fee was $337. This company is totally unprofessional and is a rip-off.

I cannot have sympathy for you because Appliances Connection has had a terrible reputation and terrible reviews online for at least a decade. The Better Business Bureau warns about the number of complaints it has received for this seller. Either you did not take 5 minutes to check online, or you did, but you liked their price so much you bought the range anyway. Your post here does nothing, and affects nothing, because there have already been years of complaints. Purchasers who’ve ignored the reviews and complaints contribute to the company’s continued success.

I'm just one customer but I ordered a range and washing machine from Appliances Connection (appliancesconnection.com) at different times and didn't have problems though I did need to change my range order from one model to another due to unavailabililty.

Appliances Connection does, indeed, have radiant electric ranges that start at $548 (Amana AER6303MMS) and coil ranges that are even less. That linked range price includes delivery. The website includes the ability to track a purchase and the Return Policy states that there is a per-pound charge for returns which could be a lot as ranges are heavy; the linked Amana radiant range weighs 152 lbs.
- Was delivery attempted? It doesn't appear so. What does the purchase tracking say? What did the AC rep say? If it wasn't, AC should redeliver for free.
- Don't return the appliance. It'll just cost you.
