The kitchen you show I ssume is now the before so now is agood time to decide what you want since refininishing the doors and drawers will have to have the old holes filled before painting.IMO you already had a backsplash and I would remove the dated one and just patch the drywall and then think about a wall color where the tile is not driving the choices .I think a nice green quite light would be a grea twall color I love this cut 25-50% I think a chrome faucet is a great idea still keeping a nice traditional feel to the space , I think all the gold colored hardware etc will become the next dated finish so why not just chrome for all it adds a bit od sparkle too.

Against my black counters I am having cabinets in the color SW wool skein, with polished nickel faucet and hardware. I think it's a soft and warm look.

Thanks for the advice! We re-did the backsplash. Now picking hardware for white cabinets. Is it an issue to pick knobs and pulls from two different Jeffrey Alexander collections as long as they are the same finish? I like these two - do you think they coordinate? Knobs for doors, pulls for drawers + fridge + dishwasher.
