So far Value has been a pleasant choice for our aluminum windows. Also SoCal. Also recommended by our builder. Half the cost of Fleetwood and a much better product IMO than the Milgard aluminum. Has a luxury feel that Milgard didn’t.

We elected for PRL sliders only because I wasn’t able to see the Value sliders ahead of time—the house we visited that our builder was doing had Value windows and PRL sliders so we did the same package. Windows were installed last week…our PRL sliders haven’t been installed yet. If you can work around the Title 24, Value is a good option…one of the neighbors did Windor but ultimately aluminum for us was much more architectural than a vinyl product. If we would’ve seen Value sliders ahead of time we probably would’ve done Value instead of PRL but we went with what we knew.

We ordered 9/1 and Value windows arrived around second week of Nov. PRL sliders 2 weeks later.

Thank you. That is helpful. You have beautiful views. Yes, in an ideal world we'd use Fleetwood, but that isn't in our budget. Hopefully the Value works out for you. It's the only manufacturer my people have that isn't Fleetwood that will work for my measurements.

Half the price of Fleetwood would scare me. I would very leary of anything at that rice point, especially patio doors. Maybe they are fine (I personally have not heard of them), but with a name like "Value", it sound more like something generic or from the Dollar Tree. And not having a phone number listed is a little disconcerting as well, at least to me.
