I’m growing one in one of those over sized, large black pots nurseries put trees in. I wasn’t sure if it would sucker or not so I put it on one of those 12x12 pavers.

Mine started off as a tiny band and is getting quite large and lanky. For now I haven’t really been pruning it, I want it to put on some size and then I will see about controlling the shape. It is next to Geschwind’s Schonste and one is noticeably larger than the other but I can’t remember who.

They aren’t in a great place (my neighbor’s cedar trees limit both their sun and water) but they’re doing ok
