Did you receive the right sofa? There is nothing beige in that fabric! I know that ordering from a swatch can be a surprise, but you say you saw this in the store.

If painting is out the question, then start looking for beige/ gray plus maybe a third color like a blue.

Add a rug, New throw and pillows.

You could look into a large piece of art for about the sofa and pull colors that.

I see a brownish rust pillow in the chair.

If you could do on the dimensions of your room on graph lined paper or on an Excel document. You will need measurements for each wall window and where all your windows and doors are etc. Plus more pictures. People would be able to help better.

Off the top of my head it always looks a little cramped when sofas are right up against walls. A little bit of breathing room defines the furniture better and styles it a bit better to my eye. I don't mean against the back wall on the sofa I mean on the window wall.

Sometimes floating the furniture is advisable but since I don't see your place very well so far I'm not sure if you could get away with floating it out from either wall. As far as the sofa and walls colors goes my thought is that you need to see if something like pillows or throws and art will tie the room together enough that the warmer walls will go with the cooler Gray. It works for some people. If it bothers you to have warm and cool colors together that might not go away. A carpet mixed of mixed colors including Grays and beiges might work to tie it all together. The idea being that the larger carpet and art pieces of blended colors helps with the large expanse of the wall colors.

Personally I would start off with a couple of throw pillows and a piece of art. Then work my way from there.

That is my not a pro opinion. I've just been where you are and have done exactly what I'm suggesting.

Clarisa, those colors can work well together. Nature mixes neutrals, too! I second looking for a little more grey on the sofa (double down!), something like a pillow or two in soft charcoal with some texture, a couple of different sizes. The throw is OK by me. I'd like to see a larger, more solid lamp, as the sofa is so heavy by comparison--that little lamp would look better elsewhere. A rug is a great idea--go as big as you can, and maybe pull the sofa away from the walls a touch. I like Juniper's Vintage Market for vintage Turkish rugs. They're nicely worn in, washed, and re-bound. Good luck! Looks like you have a great room started there.

Start with a RUG! One that pull in the spice of the leather pillow, and the gray!

Experiment with pillows. Take the white pillows and camel pillow from your chair and play with them on the sofa. What are those pillows stacked on the floor? Take sweaters of different colors and put them on pillows to test our how colors look on the sofa. I think a bit of black, camel, more grey, white in pillows will mix it all up nicely together. Can also make a run to TJ Maxx or Home Goods and get some returnable pillows to play with - though I don't know if I would be caught dead in those stores at this time or year!

I second pulling the sofa away from both walls by about 6" - 12".

The trick I use for this challenge: Take a huge throw in a color you like, such as green or tan (since you have some of that color already). Fold it diagonally. Put it on the back of the couch so the long diagonal fold is on the top of the couch. This will break up the color between the couch and the wall. In your art, pillows, and rug, incorporate your colors of gray, cream, camel, black, and green. It seems to me that you have kind of a rustic vibe going - is that correct? These colors are all reletively neutral, so you should be fine sticking with those. Regarding art, don't fill the space with something just to fill the space. Take your time to find something you love. There may be a local artist for that. Also, some colleges have their own art gallery. Here’s another take on adding more gray and rust to the room. The pillow is from Etsy and the rug from rugs-direct.com.

The colors are fine and just need to be pulled together. With your neutral pallet you can go in a few directions. Think about a preferred color scheme, ie:

Soft/muted:

Soft/more defined

Strong/earthy

Then begin your rug, art and cushion shopping and you can always test items and return if it doesn't feel right.

It’s too bad that you can’t paint. Could you put up a large piece of artwork over sofa? That might minimize the clash of colors between the walls and your sofa. Alternatively, could you float the sofa in the room? That might also minimize the clash of colors. Good luck.

I usually get a rug that has both tones in it to start I have this one where I wanted to add some gold tones in my LR that is just gray , black and white so you get the idea. Just choose one with all the color you want .
