I need to see the house . IMO head the 2 black lights you show are not working together at all.

I have the second light you show and we love it- four of them flank three patio doors on our modern ranch. It does seem very different than barn lights. The third brass light seems interesting but I can’t picture what it is.

The front timberframe entry is not quite finished and as you can see the charcoal vertical siding not started yet. There is a picture window on the left of the entry and to the right the opening for the door and side lights.

This is a walkout and full of windows. You see the back as you drive up the driveway in the woods. This is the front door not installed yet.

The barn lights are going to be centered over each garage door. Electrical already placed. Can choose something else? I'm rustic, modern style with a little farmhouse. BTW, the garage doors match the front door.

IMO the elecrical needs to be in but the actul lighting needs to wait until the house is at lease sided .

Electrical is in and had to be at this point. If I change my mind on the lights I have to ensure whatever is chosen will fit the electrical box i.e height and style. Is it wrong to mix a industrial style barn lights with minimalist style sconces? Keeping the fixtures black or going to brass? I chose black originally to keep it more subdued.

Black would be fine, I'm sure, but the right brass fixture might be spiff as well -- I can't quite picture charcoal siding everywhere. I do think that the style needs to match a bit more. Let me dig around a bit.

Thank you ACM! Some great options there, thank you. It is hard to visualize the house in charcoal siding without seeing it. The front door and garage doors will pop in the colour I've shown. Yes, the first one is a great match to the industrial style barn lights. I looked at the second one before as well. This is helpful and I appreciate all the photos you sent along!! Cheers
