I agree to wait until Spring. But rather than cutting at the red line, why not just repot the plant and straighten that trunk when you repot it. Situate it in the soil so that it is straight again. Just another idea. In the future, you can probably avoid that lean by turning it regularly and pruning it so one side isn't heavier than the other.

The idea of the ref line is to make it shorter at the base… the main trunk is like few inches too tall

Personally I don't think it's too tall. But if you do, just bury it deeper when you repot. It will be a lot less stress on the plant than lopping it off and re-rooting it.

I would wait for spring. You can lop it off (directly above a node ring) and let it regrow, or lop off and root the top of the tree (cut directly below a node ring. Let it dry a few days.

If I were you, I woukdwould lop at the red line, and trim the cutting at the green lines, root it, and you'll have two plants

When you cut the green lines, take note of the leaf scar spots and which way they face, because that is the direction the two new shoots will face. Make the cuts at the node ring that will give the growth direction you want.
