Hello, I am interested to the know the material used on the fireplace section, is it a sort of concrete render/plaster or just plaster painted, thank you in advance for your help

Someone told me plaster is delicate. True? Or only venetian plaster is fragile? Is plaster sturdy?

This plaster is very sturdy. It is basically cement in this case. There are additives you can include in the plaster mix to make it even stronger, including fly ash, fiberglass, etc. We did not do that to this finish and it has held up very well. I hope that helps.
