How often do you use the toaster oven? If not frequently, can you store it in the drawer? IMO, what really needs to go in the drawer is the stuff on top of it. The toaster oven will then just be unnoticed.

Do you have a pantry where these could go?

Paint the interior of the microwave cabinet to match the doors and put food in pantry cupboards.

Yes to just painting the microwave alcove and leaving it open. The toaster oven would look fine if it didn't have junk stored on top of it. Clean it off, center it in the middle of the space and leave it alone if you don't have a pantry or other place to store it when not in use.

I'd leave the appliances as they are. an open ledge in the vertical cabinet w a nice basket could contain the bags and plastic tupperware sitting out. but you didnt know to get an open shelf or ledge.....but can you put the things in a drawer? toaster oven is really handy but synonymous with HOT and CARE needed w use. its a good spot for it ..... Id leave it isolated there.....not hidden anywhere. I like how you can cook some fish or toast a ciabatta sandwich and this type of activity you want super handy so leave it and use it right there.

I'm with Tish. It's a kitchen. We cook in kitchens. We use appliances to cook. I don't understand this whole appliances need to be hidden.

I've got a Breville smart oven. It gets used almost everyday so it sits out on the counter. I've got a microwave that gets used everyday so it is on a shelf next to the fridge. My Kitchenaide mixer sits out on the counter in the corner because I don't want to have to drag it out anytime I want to use it.

It’s a kitchen. Microwave and toaster oven are in plain view and convenient, but kind of tucked away.

I am surprised at your need to "hide" the microwave and toaster oven from a kitchen. Yet not bothered by the stuff siting on top of the toaster oven.

Hah cleaned the stuff off and centered the microwave. Even though the kitchen was done a year ago, I suddenly started getting lots of videos in my feed about cabinets. Thanks for the advice.
