I always used to hang a landscape painting on the wall in view of the desk so I would have a nature view when looking up. It was mine - I took it with me when I changed jobs. It's a good way to bring in some color (the picture I'm referring to had autumn leaves), and landscapes won't offend anyone. :-) If you have any diplomas, certificates, etc. relevant to your position, hang those too.

Paint the walls a calming color you can work in. (you'll be spending a lot of time there)

My focus would be on the lighting. Although you can't remove the ceiling fixture, you CAN add other lighting, floor lamps, table lamps... so you don't need to turn on the overhead glare. Add LARGE format art related to your work for interest ^

A tapestry/rug mounted on the wall will soften the room by acting as a sound dampener.

It looks like you could be in Quebec. I don't know your taste but these pieces have nice colors.

Great big canvas has big canvas prints that are reasonable and recommended here on Houzz. We have some from them in our house.

This canoe photo is an unframed as a very large canvas print would go on the main wall where the doorknob hits. This also come in a vertical orientation if need be.

You need at least six of the following:

Framed Cork Utility Boards. One will serve as your desk blotter, and cut this first. Half size will hang on your metal cabinets. The cork should be painted or wiped with seafoam or mustard preference or slate black. Frame in:

Lamp metal or

Cherry Stain

This tames the beige cabinets.

Additional structural elements might be bookshelves in Cherry or the metal matching your lamps. 3 corner shelves (triangular) or narrow tall bookcase at angle from locker side to wall. Coffee corner!

Position tall Cherry cabinet at angle and place matching lamps on either side.

Angles create flow! to artwork or utility boards.

If you feel really brave, slipcover the chair, but bonus points for resisting temptation trying to slipcover an ergonomic rolling chair lol!

If you can find heavy duty (industrial fibre) weighted rugs in a mustard/dark teal mix, you may have won through the uphill part of the battle. If not, bring coordinating seafoam in with entryway rug. You certainly may! cover the mustard tile with a rug, same hue, but i love mustard tones! So did someone else lol!

Guessing that might not be possible? So entryway rug is the best tie!

Wall color:

If not white, then thoughts on wall color:

-Don’t let the lockers discourage you from palest mustard walls! Here you can tie in the seafoam with by painting all cork materials in that color.

-Palest slate or seafoam walls certainly tie in the hall tile, and make a fresh flow, but you MUST cover the walls in yellow art to lift the gloom. Recommend additional entry hall lighting if going with seafoam or slate.

-If not staying with white or creamy off white, i encourage you to play with Pantone tech and see if you like pale mustard or pale goldenrod walls.

My pick? a big pottery style creamy lamp for bright light accent! and some standing white pottery, or any style! by door and desk. I see no natural light, but no despair here either! Tall strands of yucca or eucalyptus!

And to finish, did you make it this far? Gold star lol! A few thoughts on art:

You have an entryway gallery! I love a variety of prints and colors, but not in all locations. Tying together seafoam and mustard, I recommend a print set of big simple flowers, or nature items, to be used on the entryway walls and continued in office. Landscapes do not fit this milieu, nor do mix and match. Primary colors or sea-blue and yellows, perhaps Blum Prints? Beautiful! Frame in the lamp metal finish, black slate trim, or white.
