Looking at the LG tower. It stands 74 inches tall, 27 inches wide, 30 inches deep. It has 7.4 cubic ft in dryer and 5.2 cubic feet in washer. WKRX200HBA. ON SALE $2499.00. 1 yr warranty. Read a review saying it’s hard to wipe up the gasket bc too much water remains in it and hard to get a towel in folds of rubber. Also read some have leaking issues with the dryer. I always keep the door open and take out the soap dispenser to air it out. Do not want mold.

There is no model WKRX200HBA on either the LG USA or Canada website.

I've got an LG Washtower, which I bought almost immediately after buying this house (to replace the Samsung pair that were here when I moved in. I've had no problems with leaking, smell, or mold; I don't wipe water up from the gasket - I just leave the door open a bit and it evaporates. Mine doesn't have steam in the dryer, though. I'm very happy with it, except the sensor on the dryer isn't great and so I mostly use it based on time and heat level, bypassing the sensor function.

I purchased the LG washtower this summer for my apartment. I've only had one other front loader in my life and it required lots of towel drying and odor prevention, so I was a bit hesitant to get this, but based on tons of research I decided it was the best option. I have had zero troubles with water in the gasket or mold and I don't even dry it out with a towel. I just leave the door cracked open after washing.

I am built like a giraffe (or as my neighbor calls me The Gazelle.) Finding clothes that fit is near impossible. I treat my clothes incredibly gently so they will last longer. The delicate cycle works well, however, the machine feels so gentle that I've started washing delicates together, some in mesh bags, on the quick speed cycle instead.

Knock on wood, the washtower has been an excellent machine and I actually enjoy doing laundry now.

I really liked the steam feature but may not use it very much. What I appreciated more was that I learned the inside of the dryer and washer are stainless steel with the turbo steam and turbo washer model. There was another tower model that did not have the turbo features but the turn off was that I was told the inside of both washer and dryer in the other model were painted. That raised concerns. Both models closely priced. Leaning towards the turbo features. Will likely wipe up the gasket.

The washer dryer I inherited at the condo work reasonably well but the washer is smaller and I was only able to get rid of 90% of the mold. I was quoted $350.00 to $400 to change the gasket which included the gasket and labour. Did not seem worth it.

Josie I've had a WM4200 washer and matching dryer for 3 years. No odor, no mold. I just leave the washer door ajar when not in use.
