Yes, sold as baffle box, but instead the stitching to close off each box/cell didn’t meet, so the feathers all shifted down over time. So there are about 10 over-stuffed cells and the rest are empty.

If the stitching doesn’t cross to contain the down within the baffle, it’s defective. Shame on PB.

When did you buy it? I like PB’s bedding generally, but I would never think any item made of cotton that has to go through washing machine and dryer to be a ”forever” purchase.

PB quilts are just not made like they used to be. I still have many of them years later! However, since 2019 or so, many are pre-printed and not quilted. Just because there is ”hand stitching” doesn’t make it a quilt. I have been so disappointed in the quality, thought I do find them rather light and soft, they are not quilted, so buyer beware. I do not plan on ordering quilts from PB unless they bring back actual quilts, not cheaply printed and loosely ”hand sewn” knock offs.
