We ordered the petit brown slim shaker cabinets from cabinetselect.com at the end of November. At the time, they were noted to be in stock, shipping in 1-2 business days.

Since then we have been met with delay after delay. first mid Dec. Then after the holidays. Then end of January, and now mid-February. We are in the middle of a full reno project, and the snowball effect these cabinet delays have caused have cost us thousands already.

They chalk it up to manufacturer delays in the Panama Canal. I'm frustrated, because it was listed as in stock stateside, so the Canal shouldn't have been a factor, but also, with the amount of materials, appliances, hardware, etc. we've bought within the past month, this has been the only delay.

Is anyone else experiencing these issues with Forevermark or Cabinet Select? Or the petit line, particularly? I feel like they're blowing smoke at this point, but not sure.
