What a cool table. You could do either a mirror or art. Size would depend on lots of things, but I would say on the larger size for either. You could have something not so wide and provide balance on the table with a lamp or tall vase. I would use painter's tape to mark out different sizes to see what pleases your eye.

This arrangement uses a mirror AND art stacked to the side:

    large art with sconces:

Using 3 smaller pieces instead of one large one:

I thought this was a nice arrangement with large art and some tall display pieces to give some depth:

I think there is too much small 'stuff' on this table, but thought the mirror with art flanking it was an interesting idea

Not this exact art, but for scale and with just a couple of interesting things on top to marry the two pieces.

Beautiful table. Agree art would be best over the table. At least 50" wide. I think the table is so contemporary I would remove the the chair rail and picture frame molding that is very traditional.

What seize lamp should I buy?

Your lamp and mirror will have to coordinate size-wise, so it's difficult to say what size for both, since you haven't chosen either. I would still mark up different size mirrors with painter's tape or cut out cardboard or paper and see what size works.

I do agree with JCK that the molding behind the beautiful iron work of the table does seem to detract and make it all a little busy. If you want to make a big statement and solve the problem of the molding, maybe think about a full length mirror...

It would depend on what the table looks like from the back since some of it will reflect.

What is the ceiling height? This will help with answering large art sizes to consider. Also, a statement runner rug should be considered.

I’d lean into the nature theme with your gorgeous console.

The 60x80 art above would be a nice size for the console.
