Arrangement of room

I would like to add additional seating. Something for under TV.

Hard to tell without measurements of the space and current furniture. If it would fit, get a swivel accent chair and angle it toward the "L" of the sofa...the fabric could be a pattern that incorporates cream, the sofa, and wall color. Or, get a low credenza for under the tv and add stools beneath it.

I would also pull your sofa away from the window and put a narrow sofa table behind it. It looks squished currently.

Can we see the other part of the room to see the space available and what space need to be empty

If you turn your couch counter clock wise you can get 2 of the same chairs and put them on that wall were facing where the frames are

    Sorry my phone glitched!

If you take my advice you can get a thin long console table that sits behind the couch and creates a "hallway" ill send pics in another post of what I mean...you can have the TV stand match that console for cohesion

I would get a long console i think a big mistake ppl make is getting a console thats not wide enough should be wider than TV and I prefer closed storage looks neater

If you do 2 matching living room chairs you can move that little side table between them

Might need different coffee table depending on the size of everything google standard coffee to couch distances

I think the continuity of the room would be improved by painting that other wall the same lovely green. The current yellow?? is not flattering. Is the crown molding the same? It looks different on my screen.

The sofa shouldb't be shoved into the corner like you have done. Maybe 5" away from the window and wall. Center the framed items over the sectional and lower the height.

I don't get the introduction of a green wall in this room. It doesn't bring out the best of the rug nor anythning else. I would change it.

You could add a bench below the TV which is also mounted too high and add a swivel chair to the side of the sectional.

Love the idea of turning the sofa 90-degrees so on side has its back to the kitchen and the other side is under the window. Pull it out from the window wall a tiny bit so it isn't so crunched. Then get a new chair or two for under the sea shell pics. This would really help define the space. Lower the TV and put two extra stools under it for expanded sitting.

The TV Is 38 in off the floor. I don’t think it can go any lower.

What’s right where you were standing to take the first picture? That’s where you should have more seating.

And yes, tug the sectional out. And the tv is too high for me too. If I sat on your sectional and looked at the tv I would have to crick my neck up.

I wouldn’t turn the couch. It is in the right place for watching TV and welcoming people into the room.

Another option (same as Beverly's, really; just different specifics):

Also agree with Beverly that a different wall color (gray/taupe?) would work better with the rug. Could do two chairs if there's room (angled on each side, or straight side by side).
