Skip the wreath and get urns on each side of the door. They get small Christmas trees in December, annuals the rest of the year.

I like HALLET & Co’s suggestion; urns with seasonal plants or decor would be lovely. That said, if you want a wreath (sometimes we want what we want) it should go just below the window. I’ve seen that in my neighborhood and it looks nice. (You might also look at other houses in your neighborhood for inspiration.)

I’d move it up so it’s centered over the window, and add urns.
