I'm digging the dark green ceiling too. Could you do your ceiling in a matte black or charcoal?

I'd also do gold/brass industrial bracket w/WALNUT shelves. (or you could do glass, but the walnut looks nice w/the black.

You can rout a small groove into the underside of the wood, line it w/the strip LED lights and they would be concealed. make sure to put in the electrical if you do this

Another option if you want the glass, do a mirror tile backsplash. Like a smokey-antique mirror
