quartz countertop

Looking for a warm toned light countertop to go with my Benjamin Moore white dove cabinets (turned out more creamy then I planned) every quartz sample I bring home looks to cool toned against them. Small kitchen so I don’t want to go to dark. Help!

Why are you only looking at quartz?

Daltile has a couple that are creamier like carrera veil, liberty gold, or valor gold

If you're open to quartzite, Taj Mahal is a beautiful stone that would fit the bill.

You might try some natural stones as well. Quartz isn't cheap, and some natural stones could be more cost-effective. Quartzite will be much more expensive.

Kendrah's suggestions on how to view the samples are spot on. I would add that you should bring home the samples and look at them in your room with your light. It's very difficult to determine the actual color by looking online--the only way is to bring samples and see them in person.

I have brought many samples home and am viewing them on the correct plane but still finding that none are warm enough 🤷🏼‍♀️
Once countertops are installed on the horizontal plane do they usually appear lighter then when viewing the slab? So far this is what I’m finding

I used cambria delgatie on my island with white dove uppers on perimeter. Very soft and warm.

Perhaps you're focusing too much on white quartzes. Try some of the yellow-ish, beige, or tan ones. Or that green above is gorgeous--looks like Costa Esmeralda.

Quartz is more expensive than your average granite. If you aren't looking at cheap knockoff brands. Look at some Sienna Bordeaux type granites. Lots of variation with those, but they are all warm based.

Consider looking at MSI Calacatta Valentin. It’s a beauty and perfect for White Dove cabs!

Take a peek at black honed or leathered granite. Here’s a thread with lots of pictures:

Calcutta valentine has dye lot issues, I loved it initially and my sample is warm and creamy, but the dye lots now are cool toned as you can see in this picture of someone who ordered it based off her sample🤷🏼‍♀️

Erin, I did not know yet I am not surprised the colors vary with samples. I saw the slabs at the MSI wholesale when I purchased my calacatta Monaco (the cool white version of Valentin). If you can, no matter what brand you end up using, consider going to see the full slabs. Vadara quartz also has similar colors btw. Love white dove, your kitchen will look amazing

the "someone" with the installed piece would actually be better with your cabinets. I've seen whiter whites than that....it will be easier to get a backsplash tile with the "someone's" installed piece vs the very yellowish sample next to it.....

you are not in this area of white [[1st pic] by a long stretch...youre in the neighborhood of the 2nd pic .....itll be fine.....
