Assuming you are going to cut into or eliminate that portion of the driveway? How big are you thinking? Can you legally build that way with setback requirements? How bi are you looking for? Cost of living area dependent it will most likely be $500+ per sq ft.

Again, will the building dept allow it and issue you permits? You need someone to give you an actual drawing to present to the township anyway. I would stat with an architect as you need to know if the house and roof tie in will even work.
