Curtains wouldn't do any good for your problem...there are many different solar shades available with a visibility between 3% to 10% - you should check them out...lower visibility means higher sun protection. Due to the fact that they are operable, you can always pull them up for better view or partial sun protection...

Window tint from 3M is expensive but the best. Make sure you get an experienced company for this job...the glass is pretty big...

I would search for someone in your area who offers this service. They should be able to show you some options with a neutral tone and low reflectivity. This should also add to the energy efficiency of the home.

Mecho has something called a double shade that has 2 roller shades on one bracket. If in the future you get new, consider that option. You can get 2 different opennesses and use as you wish.

If you are looking to replace you solar shades there are various options available to you. Hunter Douglas their Duette Honeycomb shades that you can basically do two shades in one. One could be more of a sheer that you can see through and the other could be more opaque. That way during different times of the year or day you could adjust them to fit your needs. You also have the same option with their Roller Shades.

Both are good options but honeycombs have the greater R value. In fact, Hunter Douglas has one product whose R value is greater than brick...Duette Architella

If you will go the tint route, do it professionally, and DO NOT apply tint on the interior pane, rather on the exterior. Glazing panels are designed to function as produced. Post-production interior tinting will almost always cause heat build-up inside the glazing panel that destroys the seal in short order and any warranties will be likely voided by the third party modification.

Have you considered exterior shading devices? Depending on your location and the window orientation, some strategic shading elements can eliminate most of the incoming solar gain without blocking view and as such leave you with an un-tinted view.

Functioning blackout lined draperies could certainly work. You might have to pull your furniture out some to allow them to pass behind it though.
Many companies offer the twin shade option mentioned above, though I do like the look of your solar shades here.

I like the combined suggestions of getting a 5% Solar and window film. You get to keep the view whilst still reducing the heat and UV.
