What to do with old Intercom system?

EDIT: Many thanks for the responses. Apologies as I didn't realize the cropped pic would be so small when posted :) It unfortunately no longer works so we'll look at removing/patching and installing a WiFi unit when we move in.

NuTone no longer sells or supports - any ideas what to do to either upgrade/replace? Any Houzz folks dealt with a similar situation? Would appreciate any and all ideas...

Remove it, fill in the opening with drywall and get Bluetooth wireless intercom if you still need one.

Most wireless intercoms use Wifi or frequencies used by home wireless phones and not Bluetooth.

We bought a house with one. We ripped it out and patched the wall. Instead we'd shout, or walk into the room to talk to someone, or use our phones to call from the basement to the third floor.

Does it work? If so, they sell for hundreds of dollars on ebay. You could remove it and the remotes, patch the holes, and sell the items.
