What are the chances this vanity will arrive in perfect condition from Turkey? Will you be expected to pay return shipping if it is damaged?

You really want to have everything planned out.

A good, custom vanity can easily cost $3k. Wood is a classic choice, either painted or stained with styles from traditional to contemporary. Wood could be oak, maple, hickory, cherry, birch, etc. - so lots of choices. There are also laminates.

There are all sorts of tops. Stone remnants are a popular choice because of all the options and good pricing.

Taste is personal, but that Etsy vanity would not be my choice, and I have doubts about whether it will stand the test of time. I would actually rather see your current vanity painted a nice color.

1. I would not purchase a vanity from Turkey from Etsy. If you want a marble wall hung vanity, purchase it from a dealer in the US where there is some kind of recourse for return or warrantee. Even better if you can go to a show room and feel the quality, see how the drawers glide. Try calling the Turkey Etsy folks to ask questions about the vanity and see what that conversation is like.

2. Consider what kind of internal wall support needs to be built to hang that amount of weight on. Factor that in to your construction plans and costs.

3. I have a similar sized bathroom and love having a wall hung double drawer vanity. Smart design whether made of marble, wood, or other material.

4. This could look beautiful in your bathroom. You just have to be skilled in your ability to mix this finish with other finishes that look good together. It isn't as simple as throwing in a white wood vanity and calling it a day.

The walls will be matte black/maybe with a gray tone in it …and the tiles on the floor will be black and white … this is the look I’m going for

Here is an example of a wall-mount two-drawer vanity, easily purchased in the US. You could add a stunning marble top, made from a remnant.

Paint is cheap (relatively). A coat of paint on your walls and vanity and a new vanity top would really update the room.

How much of your rainy day fund will be left after gut renovating three bathrooms? That is a lot to take on after purchasing a new home, and especially a first home. Do you have enough to deal with emergency leaks, furnace breaking, sewer pipe needs to be replaced? That kind of thing often happens after you buy a home because the previous owners do what they can to not have to take on big red flag projects before they leave.

This wall hung sink will require you open up a large segment of the wall behind the sink and construct blocking between the studs to support it. This is a lot of work for a half bath.

I adore your inspiration pic. What if you paint, do the great floor, and settle for another kind of marble top sink that doesn't cost as much to install?

2. Assuming it is legitimate, the odds of it arriving from Turkey intact seem pretty small to me.

3. Assuming that it does arrive in one piece, I doubt that it will look like the picture.

This appears to be a wall-hung vanity. Trying to hang a solid marble vanity on the wall is going to be a problem--too much weight. I currently have a wall-hung vanity (wood base) with a granite top, and it was "interesting" getting a bracket to hold it and a year or two after install, we needed to add a leg brace on the non-wall side.

I am in the process of buying stone kitchen cabinets. This hasn't worked out as I would have liked. The manufacturer will not make the stone kitchen cabinet as a wall upper cabinet, and I can't get the stone for panel inserts on appliances. Because of the weight of each cabinet door piece, I am only getting the 3 sides of my island covered in stone. The base cabinets and the wall cabinets in my kitchen will be another material.

What you can do is Dekton. Dekton (and similar products) is very similar to procelain tlle. Because Dekton is thin, it doesn't have the weight of granite or marble.
