it isn't necessary to fill every free space in a room/home.

if you need a table next to a seat add one, if not, leave it.

Center the window wall sofa between the windows (it is ok to put the end tables and lamps in front of the windows, centered on each window)

the room is already full. the TV is a bit high for comfortable viewing. I would paint the white unit Black, edit the items on the top (they are a distraction) move the floor lamp into the inside corner to light the space. adding drapery panels to the window to soften the edges.

I would switch the TV, etc., with the sofa and art on theright. It appears current arrangement makes it difficult to view TV (looking sideways from seated position).

Is this your main TV room? maybe consider creating an L shape with the sofas. Add the other side table on the TV side of the window/wall sofa. Or just leave it out. I think there are enough (or may one too many) pieces in that space. Can you lower thte TV to about 6"above the console- more eye level? If you need feet rests, you can do smaller poufs which can then be moved around. Add a drink table to the far end of wall sofa

Thanks you, Lye! The picture with the purple circle (and floor vase toward the back) is the new arrangement because you were right, the sofa looked so off not being centered. Our living room connects right into our kitchen and is extremely narrow so the white end table really doesn’t have much more room to be scooted towards the little dining table.

So you think move the tall floor lamp to the right of the tv in that corner? Also, I have been struggling so bad with curtains, any suggestions or mock ups anyone can provide ? ❤️❤️❤️

I think your room and family deserve a better layout for watching TV. Watching TV sideways is not comfortable.

See the arrangement from Bev above. Paint the Console, sell off the white end tables, get something warmer in a wood tone.

You have too much matched up white in a room with toasty walls. .......and the rug isn't helping the color scheme at all.

Trade the harsh blind look, for some natural woven wood shades, and add curtain panels.

Change up the shapes with a coffee table, and a mix of materials

Side tables deeper. lighter feeling

Break up the matched pillows

Move the furniture around and take new photos of the room for us to see.

Going to work on moving the furniture this week. I don’t believe the couch will fit along the TV wall, if it does it will be realllllyyyy tight with no room on the sides for anything furniture or table stand wise.

Just an FYI - A coffee table in front of a couch is just as useful as side tables.

Post a photo once you’ve moved the furniture. And put heavy athletic socks under the feet if you don’t have furniture sliders.
